I hear my crab digging but I don't see him

I hear my crab digging but I don't see him

I woke up today and noticed that all my crabs where gone all I hear is is the digging but there are no holes to any tunnels

A lot of times they close their tunnel off as they dig and don't leave any 'evidence' behind. :)
Crabbing since July 2014! 75 gallon with 12 Purple Pinchers.

One of my crabs kind of opened the tunnels when he stepped on it

You will never see the crab in the spot that they went and dug down in..they rectifying all over under there looking for that perfect spot..you might hear digging for days.
