1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it?
A mixture Of play sand and Eco earth.
5:1 ratio
2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read?
80 humidity. 75 heat. I'm trying to get a better heater to raise the heat.
3. Is a heat source used in the tank? If so, what?
Zoomed Uth medium
4. What types of water are available (fresh or salt) and how is the water treated (what brands of dechlorinator or salt mix and what ratio is used to mix it)?
Fresh and salt
5. What kinds of food do you feed and how often is it replaced?
A mixture of granola, chia seeds, dried prunes ,dried blueberry ,unsalted sliced almonds , cuttlebone and I think that's it . Unseasoned / unsalted cook chicken
For a treat every so often
Every 1-3 days or if I see something spoiling
6. How long have you had the crab and what species is it, if known?
6-7 months / both crabs Purple Pincher
7. Has your crab molted, and how long ago did it happen?
No never molted with me
8. What type of housing are the crabs kept in, what size is it and what kind of lid is on the housing?
A fifty gallon tank with mesh lid and towel on top
9. How many crabs are in the tank and about how large are they?
I'd say one medium crab and one large
10. How many extra shells are usually kept in the tank, if any?
5-7
11. Have there been any fumes or chemicals near the crabitat recently?
No
12. How often do you clean the tank and how?
Every 6 months to a year or if flood / bacteria outbreak (i.e.-mold, bugs
13. Are sponges used in the water dish? If so, how are they cleaned?
No sponges
14. Has anything new been added to your crabitat recently?
No
15. Is there any other information you would like to share that might be helpful (anything that is regularly part of your crab care, playtime, bathing, etc.)
They are both shy I don't know if that helps

Since they haven't molted yet, this could be PPS. I thought attack because of the crushed limbs but I guess it's also possible he dropped them and started picking/eating at them. They definitely have plenty of space. You could ISO the crab just by dividing the tank in some way.
I would try to vary the diet more, especially protein sources. Dried crickets, mealworms, and shrimp usually go over very well and keep well too.
Upping the temp as soon as you can may increase activity. Do they mostly hang out near your heat source?
More shells never hurts.
