What are your crabs up to?

As the humidity is still high due to the recent doubled substrate, the nice-to-climb grapewood branch was getting a tad hairy and moldly so out it came last night for a good scrub. Did a bit of decor revamp and brought back the hollow resin log the guys like so much. Felix and Harry were super happy to see it again and were all over it for more than an hour! Big Enzo, who loves to hide under the log, is still in one of his tunnels and hasn't come up to rediscover the log yet -- bet his eyestalks will stretch when he sees it

!

Tough Guy Felix on the left and Harry on the right. They were so excited that Harry forgot to run away from Felix so they actually stayed on the log together for a few moments!

This is Big Enzo in the moss pit a few days ago.

Well today was a first for me (or Bob I should say). Bob is my biggest crab who has never dug into the substrate since I've had him. He's my only crab who NEVER digs and today I found he has made himself a little trench against the back of the tank. I'm guessing he loves that UTH lol.

I love that look on Big Enzo's face! It's the "oh crap" look again! Felix must be quite a tough guy to scare a big guy like Harry. That's too cute lol.

Hermy rubbing up on the heater enjoying the heat. Then he smelled all the fresh food. He actually walked up to the the food, turned around and walked to the water bowl to explore the bubbler. then he checked out the other bubbler (the pic in the corner).

Then he checked out the new food, I had the biggest menu yet that day. it featured: pare, tangerine, walnut, shrimp, mixed nut powder and pellet food (like always d:)

Lulu checked out the bubbler as well, then he sat in that weird position for several minutes. Biscuit approached him and it looked like she tried to stand on top of him, I thought it may have been a dominance thing but Lulu seemed to fight back.

Biscuit then backed off, but then ran right past Lulu and started doing a stunt.

Lulu caught on, but it was too scary for him, he soon backed off. Then Biscuit got unstuck and flipped all the way upside-down. I must say that's impressive for a crab that's only a couple weeks out of the pet store and obviously hasn't molted in awhile.

This took me about an hour to put together, glad it payed off.
