Stryper (I think it's Stryper) discovered the joy of climbing upside down on the mesh lid. Hearing the scraping and watching him is a bit creepy. He also found the treat in the hamster wheel but didn't use the wheel. Except I think to reach the lid. I have video but can't seem to post it using tapatalk.

Silly crab. Finally someone discovered the climbing wall but the wrong side! Derek is climbing between the wall and the glass. Scraping and banging his shell.

my hermits do that all the time. They go and climb on the other side of the plants and go against the glass. I find it funny

About a week.
(Though I've had the wheel for ages, I just didn't get it together in modified form and attatched in tank. Uve been such an aweful procrastinator this winter. Bad crabber.)
Edit: I did put dried persimmon in there as a lure.

My wheel has been in there for maybe 6wks. I've put fresh coconut, which was taken but no rides, and fresh apple. No takers. I'm tempted to put one of them in there.

New crabber here as an adult though I did have hermies as a teenager. I got my 2 about 2 months ago, they classify as small, one male and one female. Their names are Kaladin (M) and Shallan (F). Kaladin just had his first successful molt and now they are playing shell swaps since I put new shells in but I am so happy because they were both in painted shells when I bought them and so as soon as I noticed that they each had changed, I took the painted shells out and threw them in the trash where they belong. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my crabbies!
