Muse, she's so cute! I love straws coloring!

Yesterday I went to do water changes and I got the salt water done, but Devise was on one of the plants right next to the fresh water and it made it difficult to get the dish out without potentially hurting Devise :x So instead of walking away till he moved I cleaned up around the tank, I didn't know tank maintenance could be so exhausting : !
Then I woke up to this morning to sand dunes in the tank....again!! That insane one likes to bug me I think  . I still love him though!
Crabbing since July 2013!

I just got my crabbies 2 days ago. During the day it seems all 4 have dug down to hide. I just spent the last 15 minutes watch 2 of them- Muriel and Bob. Bob has changed shells already from the one he came from the pet store in, and Muriel looks like she's debating a change of clothes as well. She's been climbing all over the spare shells, sticking her legs into the openings. Bob has buried himself in the moss pit. The other two went into hiding right off, and I haven't seen them since I put them in, so they are yet to be named.

The 4th crab is still hiding, so I haven't been able to get a picture of him/her yet. I'm thinking about naming that one Carmen Sandiego.

Big Enzo provided me with a big laugh last night. He was hanging on a vine over the saltwater pool by the tips of his claws and I knew he was going to fall in. Sure enough, Kersplash!, into the pool on his back. Very gracefully, no legs waving in the air, he righted himself, climbed out of the pool backwards and just sat on the substrate for a minute, gathering himself. He must have seen either me or PakyRaku, one of the new little guys, watching him because he pulled the old classic cat stunt: he began to groom himself with that whole "Oh, that? I meant to do that" attitude that cats have when they've accidentally fallen off the back of a chair or the couch and been caught at it  .

Biggie changed shells last night, yay! He was in an ugly magpie forever. Not that I really care too much, as long as he's happy, but I'm glad he finally showed an interest in prettier shells.

Other than that, most of my guys are still down and I'm leaving them alone other than changing food and water. When the most exciting event in the tank is a shell change, that's pretty sad. Lol!

I'm excited, I heard, then saw, one of my Es that's been down for a few weeks. Since he was still underground (just at the glass digging along) I can't tell whether he molted again or what. I put out his favorite foods hoping to entice him to surface so I could see him. (There was a tunnel this morning when I checked, so he's been out, I just haven't caught him.)

I'm pretty sure it's Bullseye. He was really shy after his first molt, so who knows if I'll catch him anytime soon. It took several days after his last molt for me to catch him topside though I could see evidence that he was up and eating.

E's! I only see one of my 3. Its like she thinks he's a PP, out during the day, while the REAL Es do the nocturnal thing. Weirdo! My PPs seem to be confused by her. Their feelers move in a diff way and feeler battles with the E seem electric!

Today I did my regular water change and my bi weekly shell swap. I like to switch out a lot of different shells so that they feel like they always have new ones (it really does work). And then I put out all new food and some fresh fruit. Immediately a medium crab echo sat in the dry food and stuffed his face.
But then my viola dean switched shells! Out of my new exotics he's the first to change! I'm so excited! Of corse he picked a white flashy spiked shell.
All kinds of crabby!
