Shell fighting
Just broke up my first shell fight! One of the unnamed crabbies was naked and trying to steal Muriel's shell.I have no idea where the naked one's shell went. I moved Muriel and put 3 appropriate sized shells right next to the naked one, and he went right in one. Should I be worried that they will fight again?

Scary, isn't it?! I just went through this last night after putting 2 New ones.
They may fight again. I took out the instigator and "exiled" him to a smaller tank, and iso'd the victim in his own container inside the big tank so he can rest without being picked on.
I had a crab murdered for his shell once and it is a terrible thing. Not always preventable. Nature is sometimes cruel but that is the way things are. We can only try to intervene.
Hopefully your guy reshells, which is vital. If it seems like he is weak, I would isolate him and make sure he reshells and gets food to keep his energy up.
