I wasn't sure where to post this. Please move if new Dr.
I brought home 3 tiny newbies Monday night. They did great and everyone got along fine.
Yesterday, I brought home 2 large guys to balance out the new 55 gallon. I dipped them in the fw and set them in, watched for a bit, then went about my business.
I came back about a half hour later and my medium, Festus, recently up from his first molt with 2 New legs, was trying to rip one of the new guys out of his shell. I sprayed him with water and he detached, and I exiled him in the iso tank to chill out.
Upon closer observation of the attackee, I noticed he is sluggish, has VERY rounded tips and no antenna movement at all. I put a clear plastic container over him with caps of honey and water. He ate some honey, then turned around and I covered his hide with a towels, leaving partial opening where air holes are.
This morning, he dropped a leg.I don't know if this guy is going to make it. I decided to move the terrorist back to the main tank, and put the sick guy by himself in the old tank, with a hole dug out under a hide, food and water next to him and lights out. I won't bother him again, just keep him with honey and water.
All other newbies are doing great. Here is hoping this other guy pulls through.

It sounds like you're doing what you can. He probably was already stressed before you got him, and the stress of being bullied just made things worse. That's my guess, anyway. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Keep us updated!

The "patient" made it through the night with all other limbs intact, and even walked out of his hide. Ate a bit of honey. Then he seemed to run out of steam! So back he goes to his hide!
