Crabs disappeared

Post by Keddre » Thu Jun 25, 2015 11:31 am

Hi. Last night both my crabs disappeared. I know they didn't climb out the tank because the lid is intact and the lights hold it down. Next I thought they might have gone down to molt but one of them just came up from a molt two years ago. They're both small (shells about the size of golfballs) one's shy and the others outgoing. One thing to note is when I woke up I saw the food thrown around the tank, further than normal.

I'm thinking you probably meant months?

Crabs dig just to dig sometimes. Some will spend the day underground and resurface at night. It's very normal crabby behavior. :D

Three weeks is still pretty normal. I know how easy it is to worry over these guys. Hugs!
