Lethargic???

Post by kadynadair16 » Sat Jul 18, 2015 1:42 pm

My crabs havent been out lately. They aren't buried either. They have started in their hiding place for four days now. The only one I see active is Oswald my smallest pp. I know I have all the correct conditions too because nothing has changed since the last time I answered all of those questions. What's wrong? Is there anything I can do?

Have you seen any other signs of molting? Lethargism is a sign of molting sometimes.

They are generally the most active in temps around mid 80's (PP's), and since they're nocturnal they will be most active in the wee hours of the night. Mine party hard at 3AM. If you have had them for a short time and they become lethargic they may be destressing or winding down for a molt. In some cases it could be PPS. Offer high energy high protein foods as well as some organic raw honey and just let them be to destress.
