The water bowls are small because my crabs really hate getting into the water all the way

Just my 2¢ but just because you don't necessarily see them going all the way into the water does not mean that they don't. I know space is at a premium in all tanks, but I would really try to get a deeper bowl.

Their bowls are deep so that they can submerge. From the top it looks shallow but it is not I promise. I would never give them bowls that they can not submerge (I have in the past and I regret that) I so normally give them big and deep dishes but for the time being I am giving them small but deep dishes. thank you for your concern!

Ahh, now I see what you mean. I also have a small, but deep for my SW and am going to be moving my FW to a smaller, but deep container. I just added a waterfall which they seem to be in love with.

I saw videos on YouTube about the waterfalls and I'm in love with them, they are expensive where I go. Being a billionaire would be cool.

That would be cool, but I would be broke with all the amazing enclosures I would make for my pets lol. I lucked out and found my waterfall at a good will, it was in a very old 30g tanks along with a tri-bulb light hood and some AMAZING giant wood fixtures. All for $6.

I am still very nervous about the water fall, the crabs freaked out exploring it, but I keep envisioning a flood.
