Back from vacation

Post by annedow9 » Sun May 21, 2017 6:10 pm

I believe all went well:) Crabby Girl went under a few days before went away and when I got home yesterday it seemed as nothing In the tank had changed!! So as we passed by pet smart I asked my husband if he wanted to rescue 2 more? It was a yes, he actually loves to watch them. So I really wanted to make sure the 2 newbies don't have mites before they go into the large tank. I put them into the 10 gal and they both are hiding in the hut! One looks a little devilish and the other quiet! Both are in painted shells but I just came back from Key West and bought tons of shells:) Wish is luck the Crabby family is growing!!

Just a reminder to be careful with overcrowding- especially with a 10 gal.

i have a 65 gal with only Crabby Girl in it. The 10 gal is just to make sure there clean. I also have a 29 gal with no crabbies yet. I'm so excited she just jumped shells I want to take the painted one away but my hubby wants me to leave it for a day or so just so she's comfortable. What do you think should I take it out now?

Yes! Pics required!

Also, have you tried setting up a craigslist email alert for the words 'hermit crab' in your area? You may find crabs needing to be re-homed that way (it's how I get all my crabs. :) )

Quince the fat tailed gecko; Amazonian minnows; and now Harry & Luis, Bede & Aster, Chandra & Jace, Pax, & Piccolo, my adopted PPs.
RIP Vegita :(

Is it ok to put the new crabs in the big tank with Crabby Girl down?
