Crab disappearance

Post by MeowzTheKat » Sun Nov 12, 2017 1:53 pm

So I have three hermit crabs and my smallest one has been hidden for about a week or more. I am unsure if he has gone under to molt but I am just worried because my substrate isn't moist enough right now and am worried about suffocation and if he will be able to get out. Should I search for him or just let him be and hope he comes up?

I never recommend digging unless it is a dire emergency. Just be patient. :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
