General Weirdness

Post by PinchersAndShells » Wed Feb 07, 2018 9:29 pm

I thought I’d share some strangeness my mother and sister and I got to experience tonight.
The (particularly my purple pincher) crabs have been acting like they haven’t been fed in years as of recent - so when I put the food dish in there three of them went straight to it. Then they all start to shove each other around a bit like usual, nothing too serious. But then one flipped its shell on its back and came partially out of his shell and just started pushing the food under his shell. Then he went back to normal, then another crab near him started to do it. I’m honestly so confused but I guess if it’s not hurting any of them then that’s alright. Lol

I still remember years ago my Echo doing exactly the same thing! It was like the food was so good she was going to make herself comfortable and pig out no matter what. There is a picture of it somewhere.
