I'm glad I was still awake and caught them fighting. I had to break it up. The larger crab, the victim, just came up from a molt the other day. The smaller one has been up for a long time. Honestly, I don't even know if he's molted yet. So he must think the tank is his. Although another crab about his size came up a few days ago and I don't think this guy, Rocky, has bothered him. I know the video is long but it was a long fight.

It's possible but there are plenty of options in the tank. I think maybe because the other one was down so long he thought he was a stranger. Possible? But I haven't seen any more fights.

Woah, even after the victim ran up the rock the little guy still was trying to get at him! Yikes 
Maybe rinse some of the bigger shells in saltwater to see if the little guy will show interest in those shells instead of attacking the big guy.
