HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I think I made a mistake getting 2 big crabs. My biggest doesn't go after the 2 small ones but he goes after the second biggest. I checked up on my second biggest recently, and a couple of his legs don't look sharp! I think he (the biggest) might be hurting my other crabs. Should I separate him? I don't have a proper tank to seperate him and I know they get very lonely.

The tips wear down over time naturally, the farther our from a molt they get. When they cause injury to each other their limbs will be snapped clean in half like a bent green bean.
