I was cleaning my crabs cage tonight when I found what seemed to be the tips of a crab leg in a spot that they frequently visit. I’m afraid they’ve been fighting but I’ve never actually seen either of my crabs be aggressive towards the each other. It’s possible that it’s due to stress however I didn’t find the whole leg, just the tip (possibly more than one tip.) Could it be a sign of aggression or maybe playful behavior???
As a side note I checked both my crabs and they still have all their legs including the tips… I’m very confused.
Found leg bits while cleaning???

Are the tips hollow? Sounds to me you found some molted exo pieces that got surfaced by substrate movement. Small pieces like leg tips aren’t always ingested.
