Is my crab ok?? (Please leave any tips I think he’s stressed)

Is my crab ok?? (Please leave any tips I think he’s stressed)

So my little sister dropped my crab a bit high up on hardwood floor. His shell didn’t crack or anything and he was in shock for a while but I left him alone for about a day and a half. He seems fine now but is not as active as he once was. Do you think I should leave him alone for a couple more days or is he ok now?

Hermit crabs are not really pets to take out and play with.
I would just leave him be in his tank and make sure he is getting enough nutrients and protein from his food.
Maybe adding a little bit of peanut butter and honey to a separate food dish in help boost his energy.

Because we can't run any diagnostics, it is impossible to really know if he is injured internally. All you can really do is wait and see. I would for sure not handle him if he's not acting normally. And while some people do handle their crabs regularly, I would not do so until at least his first molt (or until he has molted after the drop). And I would not handle them or let anyone else handle them if they will be at risk for such a fall.
