Where are my crabs?

I am a newbie, and I have 2 small crabs in a 5 1/2 gallon tank. The 2 crabs burried into the moss and I haven't seen them in days. Do I need to check on them or just leave them alone? The tank stays at 80 degrees and 80% humidity. I have sand and in one corner is the cherished moss, lol.

The 2nd crab we just bought on Sunday, and the 1st one we bought a month ago at a souvineer shop. Both crabs were very active in the store.

I just wanna watch and observe, not worry about these creatures hiding under the moss.

Thanks.

Don't worry! They are just destressing. They have to kind of unwind from being in those horrible conditions at the shops.
You have provided a place (moss) for them to feel safe and do that!
I know it is frustrating not seeing them and worrying, but they will prob be up in no time eating and trashing their house!
Be patient...I know it's hard.

I bought a small ruggies probably 5-6 months ago and yesterday was the first time I've seen him up since I got him.

Admittedly that is a little bit extreme, but it's not uncommon for crabs to stay under for a couple weeks after you bring them home.
