Ok, so I know there is plenty to do in my crabitat but my Ursula is quite OCD. All she wants to do is climb back and forth up a bent oak branch ALL DAY LONG. I mean hours!!! Up and DOWn, :hlol: . My 6 year old calls me and says. Mama, AGAIN!!! Ursula is doing it again! And today she told mossy to join her on her trip. Caddies, magnaturals, vines, trees, a swing, pools, hideys, NOOOOO. Just the good ol branch, ALL DAY LONG. He (ursula) loves to climb :) I gotta post pictures soon.

Repetitive behavior like that can be seen in confined animals, and some have noted it in hermit crabs on here in the past. Based on your signature you have a big enough tank for the number of crabs, so it's not being overcrowded. You may want to try to add some type of enrichment like they would do in a zoo. Maybe add a half of a real coconut (I do this with 3/4 of the coconut removed to freeze), or add a large sea sponge to climb on and eat (found some on HCP), or maybe even a bit of change in the tank layout.

I don't know what's up with him. I take him especially on walks in the yard almost everyday with his buddy Tiger, so I don't know. I just added a ledge, and three caddies, but this is his favorite stick. It's not new. It's a year old (the stick). So I don't get it. I will try the coconut. He seems to be the one that enjoys climbing the most, even outdoors. He immediately starts climbing branches :) He's such a mild mannered crab and always shares his food and space :) I'm just worried.
