Cholla - Where to get?

Post by Hermie225 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 7:10 pm

What are some places to buy good quality, large pieces of cholla wood? I've got some smaller skinny pieces ( about 4in by 1in ) but I'd like to find some thicker pieces, like a foot long or so.

I got mine from the Hermit Crab Patch. Nice quality, crabs love it (it's cholla, so duh!!). It's a foot long.

Here's the only picture I have of it. It isn't straight, it bends at the top and gets much picture, but that actually helped in my tank's case.

Good luck! :D

There are usually some good deals for larger pieces on eBay, too.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale
Also Mom to Imogene the Syrian Hamster

Check Etsy for a store called "The Cholla Shepherd".

hermit crab patch is a good place to buy almost anything you need for your crabs.
Not only are they super nice people, they have great stuff. the food they sell is amazing
totally recommended. But they do have cholla and other climbing woods in stock worth checking out.

I'll third HCP. The cholla I have gotten from them is by far the biggest, nicest I have ever gotten. And I fill up my cart with treats until the shipping goes up.
