Re: List of Desired Changes
Thanks, and it's a 20 long, but I'm going to be upgrading sometime within the next year two sizes up (same floor space, just taller) to a 37 gallon. 20 longs don't give you as much climbing space, so 29 or 37 is definitely a better choice. Re: List of Desired Changes
Alright, so with my setup plan for the 37 gallon and the plan to get a Ultratherm that's 11" tall, and the tank height itself (22 3/4"), I could easily have 11" of substrate. This could lead to (after it's set up and stable for awhile with my PPs and isopods in it) me putting in an E or two. I'm leaning more towards one, I've heard of people doing just fine with one in with their PPs, so if anyone has any input on that I would be happy. I've had three of my PPs for over a year now and they have never had any problems, and my newest one has had a successful molt as well, and I feel that I'm ready to take on another species. Obviously this is way further down the line, but it's still a possibility. Thanks.

Re: List of Desired Changes
Put in an order for the cork round and the mopani wood. Cleaning out the current hide/climb is a pain and it gets so much poo stuck in it it's ridiculous.

Re: List of Desired Changes
My cork round and mopani came in the mail yesterday. I put the cork round in the 20 gal L, there wasn't any room for the mopani though. I may just leave the mopani in a storage tote because I'm starting to become interested in potentially getting a hamster wheel for the 37 gal. I guess we'll wait and see.

Re: List of Desired Changes
I'm adopting crabs from someone on here, two small PPs and an E. I'm going to be setting up a crabitote for them until I can get my bigger tank, unless the E doesn't come up until then. I'm going to keep stuff ready to put the tote together, while in the meantime still working on upgrading aquariums. Does anyone know if isopods would be able to withstand being mailed in colder temperatures? I could probably try to get the fastest delivery possible. They're the main reason I haven't went ahead and just bought the new aquarium already, because I definitely need them as my crabs are pretty... uh... "messy"

Re: List of Desired Changes
I'm having an internal debate... do I want to just keep my current aquarium stand and get a 37 gallon, which will probably be more expensive, or build my own stand and get a 50 gallon? Hmm... I may look into potentially getting a 40 or 50, as I wouldn't have to travel as far to get a 50 gallon, and the only catch would be making my own stand.
