Post by Kaleighshermies » Tue May 22, 2018 10:15 pm

Following up this month with who I have. I believe I have 7 hermit crabs. 2 Es and 5 PPs. Check out my March and April Intakes. Will add more info to this intro tomorrow.

Crab #3: Small Purple Pincher Male
Last two months I had #3 as my missing E but I have not seen him since the day I brought him home and put him in the tank. Assuming he/she didn’t make it. March&April #4 bumped up to #3.

I believe crab #10 is the same crab as this one. Both dark in color and same size. Can’t find his old shell that he changed out of but that seems to happen a lot Image

Crab #6: Medium Purple Pincher Female
Was crab #7 last two months but everyone is getting bumped up with new numbers from the loss of the 3rd E and identifying correct crabs.

Okay that’s May.... crazy everyone is up. They all have a buddy they stick with and it’s always same species, size and shape of shell. Except crab #5 he is a loner but will hang out with the other Medium PPs on occasion.
The two Es stay together (1&2) but the female attacks the male often and it scares me when I see it.
The two Small PPs (3&4) hang together and get along very well.
The two Medium PPs (6&7) hang together and usually get along but today they fought in the food dish. Put the Male in another dish (I have 4 dishes with all different varieties lol come on guys) and once he was moved they were over it. I’m sure they will be snuggled up together like always later tonight.
Crab #5 gets along with everyone but tends to just keep to himself.
