New cholla wood - do I clean?

Post by LilHermieMom » Thu Oct 01, 2020 9:56 pm

About 2 years ago, I bought some cholla wood. I’ve never rinsed it or cleaned it or anything. It says on the talk pesticide free, pet safe. Do I need to do anything before using it in my hermits crabitat?

Also, I have a little coconut hut that I believe is real coconut. Is there a way to clean that?

You could soak and scrub with salt water, both to clean and to help prevent mold growth.
