sleeping out of shell?

Post by crabber134 » Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:28 am

hey guys! i used to be crabby7crabber, but forgot my log in info, lmao. sorry i haven't been active-- covid has been crazy! all my three crabs are still alive and well, and i plan on upgrading to a 20 as soon as i get the chance. but something that concerns me a bit is that at least two of them sleep semi out of their shell. almost as if they're going to move, but instead they just hang there. i go to pick them up, however, and they're completely fine. also, none of them has eaten food in two days, despite me providing many different healthy choices to choose from. should i be worried? they've all molted at least twice, and i'm trying my best to save for a new tank (when you're a teen that isn't easy). thank you in advance for any responses <3

Hi there! I don’t know how to add the link directly to this message, but there is a form on here that you can fill out...it says emergency form and although this might not be an emergency, it helps the experts understand your tank conditions so that they might be able to narrow down any issues that could be cause for your concern.

My first thought is temp and humidity...what are they?

I’m sure an administrator/expert will respond to you as well!
