I left out a few very important steps. You know the one that brought us all here, HCA.

Step1- buy first crab, with critter keeper

Step2- Find HCA, join

Step3- buy bigger glass tat and friend

Step4-buy better food, more shells, water supplements, hidey huts and deeper pools

Step5- buy more friends

Step6- start shell hunt, oops found another one

Step7- add more friends [smilie=cloud9.gif]

Step8- need bigger Tat [smilie=pull_hair.gif] , keeps the old one too

Step9- find one of a kind

Step10- one of a kind needs friend [smilie=banghead.gif]

Step11- come home with rescues [smilie=cry.gif]

Step12- your addicted [smilie=hearts.gif]

Welcome to the 12 step program [smilie=grouphug.gif]

Hope this is better. How many of us does this remind you of ( 99.02%.) ?

When I go to the pet store I have to walk around the crab tank so I don't bring one home. The BF doesn't wan't anymore right now. I want atleast 10 more micros for my tank

Just for clarification, is that not-paid for rescues only?

Technically any Hermie taken out of most of the stores is a rescue weather paid for or not. (my personal opinion).

THAT is so funny!

I was looking for somewhere to type about my scary addiction! I have found myself on ebay buying all kinds of crab foods, and then I found the Crabbage Patch website, and I have been going crazy!!! It really worries me! Then, about 3 weeks ago, I bought my first Straws!

And I find myself thinking about them ALL day, and what I can do to make their little lives better!!

I started decorating their crabitat, and even fixed up the stand it is sitting on! I mean, really obsessive like! My hubby thinks I have lost it I guess.
I bought my first crabs back in 96!!! I didn't know enough about them back them to keep them alive But I sure have learned a lot the past 10 years! Especially on the HCA!

I think you need to add to a step addjust it.

Buy half a tank of Ecwees and try to sneak them past the spouse. "What? No, I've had that Ecwee for 6 months..."

Not to worry dbolack, they are still waiting on my 40B pics .
I have done that to my hubbie with a few new crabs .

Kathy you have more babies than I do and I have completed the 12 steps four times now . I can't imagine how many times you have completed it .
