Thanks guys, I love him so much. I can't take my eyes off him. Im afraid soon he'll go down for a molt and then who knows when I'll see him again. He's in the main tank, and seems perfectly comfortable. Seems to be finding his way around well. Hard to believe a few days ago he was in Costa Rica.
My daughter and I decided to name him "Pocito Tito, the smallest of the small ones." If you are a fan of the "Skippyjohnjones" storybooks, you'll recognize the name. It suits him.

He's so tiny!! I can see why they completely missed him while shell collecting. Small Es are pretty standard at the pet store, but they never ever come that tiny. He's incredible!

Welcome. I'm happy to see pics of the little guy! He is too cute. My father in-law goes to Costa Rica ALL the time and I was telling my husband "why couldn't that have happened to your dad!" Lol. He's adorable and sooo tiny! I wouldn't worry too much about only having a few shells. It looks like the one he has is plenty big and Es are known for not wanting to change shells. As long as you have a few it should be fine.

Oh. My. Goodness. He is the CUTEST little thing!!! <3 Please give him to me!!! ( ) Lol, yeah I can agree that he is one lucky little crab (and one ADORABLE little crab)! Although it was very unfortunate that he stowed away like that, he IS lucky that he found a good home with you.

I am a proud owner of five hermies named Leopard (PP), Ribbon (PP), Kremer (PP), Queenie (PP), and Sunny (E). I have been crabbing since 6/16/11, and have been loving and learning so much about them ever since! My family and I also own a husky, a cat, and a bunch of freshwater fish.
