Brittanybaby 22, may I ask how u have the heatmat set up without it warping the top? or do you use a different lid?

I just have it laying on top of the lid the lid is plastic I don't have it taped down or anything so its just laying on top

that's precious that your husband is getting more involved. I love when my husband gets involved in my... Unique... Projects. Even my grandmother is getting involved. She always brings down things she's using to cook and asks "will your little critters enjoy this?" And we've all had to work our way up in the Hermie world. My crabs were in a tote for 4 months before I got them in the tank. And I picked the tote based on gallons so they would have more space so I couldn't even see them for the first 4 months I had them! Love your tank and I bet all that sand is molt heaven for your babies Image
