This is going to sound bad but I have an idea. When my 9 yr old was in kindergarten she came home with vermin--yep lice. We did everything we were susposed to do but I did not bag up stuffed animals and bedding. She got them again. The next time I did bag the stuff up and years later we haven't had any problems.

My idea is this --can you boil all the toys and additions in your tank. Lose the substrate and get new. Scour your tank, and then put the toys in those space bags that suck out all the air and leave it for about a week?

It might help with germs, mites and maybe mold issues????

This maybe a really dunb idea but--I come up with a lot of them lol!
