It is not necessary to bathe your crabs, generally.
They need to be provided with fresh and saltwater dishes deep enough to submerge in.
Bathing disrupts the salinity of their shell water and stresses them out.
If you have reddish orange mites attached to your crab that will not come off, then you can bathe in salt water and isolate the crab in a small tote or kritter keeper with damp paper towels on the bottom (no substrate). Make sure it still has fresh and saltwater to adjust the shell water.

SG, one of the hermit crab stores sold (may still sell?) a medicinal bath made with herbs. It was supposed to treat PPS and shell-less crabs and shell rot. A lot of people swore by it...

I wonder if it was actually beneficial or if the crabs molted and healed the injuries? Would be interesting to know more.

Wasn't it the Hermit Crab Addiction Store that sold this? (now closed)

I've never used it but I remember hearing about it here.

Edit: I found this. Again, I've never used it and have no idea if it works or is even safe.

That is what I used when I had a shell rot epidemic in my tank. It's hard to say if it really worked or not (it certainly didn't for most of them). It's kind of like when doctors used to swear by the healing powers of blood letting. If the patient died the doctor declared the patient was too far gone to help, while those who lived were of course saved because of the bloodletting.

I can't find the mix anymore, but you could always buy the ingredient individually and make it.
