Moving with Crabs?

Hey guys!
I'm going to be moving into my own apartment (finally) and will be moving my crabs from my mom's house to my new apartment (1 hour away). Do you have any suggestions on making the move easy on the crabs?
I was going to set up a new tank at my apartment and then put the crabs in a carrier and transfer them to the new tank therefore if any crabs are molting I don't have to worry about collapsing tunnels by moving a whole tote. Does this sound like a good plan?

Congrats on the new apartment! I'm not familiar with totes, sorry! What kind of carrier? What will you do with crabs that are molting?

Woot! New appartment congrats!

When I move multiple crabs at a time I like to separate them into their own little tupperware carriers (each with damp moss)... my idea is that if they're jostled around in transport, they won't be thrust into each others faces & won't be able to start any stress fights. So that would be my recommendation. :)
