I'd love to grow a little chia garden in my tank. Any info on how to start and maintain one?

You could sprinkle the seeds in your sub or you can start one outside the tank. Get a plate for something of that sort (I like using the terracotta pot saucers) put a ton of the chia seeds on it and cover them in water don't water for a few days, but when you do mist them. After a week or so you should see green growth.

Just an FYI, you'll be regrowing it a bit if you have my luck lol. I grew a chia garden and then put it in way up high in a resin baby groot. and one of my hermits made a bed in the chia and crushed it all lol. I grew a pile more since, but I figure it'll get crushed again.

Xeno started mini chia gardens in a window. She used organic egg shell halves filled with a mix of worm castings and Eco Earth. Once the crabs destroyed them we remove the poop and Eco Earth and start again.
She saw someone else doing that someplace, possibly on the FB group.

I use baby clay terra-cotta pots and just put a small amount of sub in, sprinkle some chia in, mist it, and let it do it’s thing! If I don’t want the crabs to totally destroy it, sometimes I will put craft mesh over the top of the pot so they can’t get in there and it will grow!
