Cleaning Day

Post by Pumpkincrab » Fri Jan 08, 2021 5:26 pm

Every 3-4 weeks I replace the crab's water, move things around and make sure everything is top-top shape.
So today I did just that! Currently 3 of 5 crabs are up, meaning Pumpkin and Mango are presumably molting. Pine said she was quite unhappy with being bothered, and Blackberry said she hated being moved, but I sprinkled some dried mealworms around. It's a favorite of theirs, so I hope they appreciate everything!

Aww Image I know a lot of crab keepers that “free feed” around the crabitat so they can forage like in the wild. Especially if you’ve got some isopods as a clean up crew!
