Out of town

Post by BugsSnow&Milly » Mon May 24, 2021 7:48 pm

I’m going on vacation for a week and don’t have anyone to watch my 3 hermies. I’ve done this before with someone caring for them every three days… My main question is will a plate of Hermit Grub’s dried hermit crab foods be substantial for a week without raw fruits, vegetables, and proteins?
Humidity will be tricky but it stays up fairly well now that it’s summer.

Back in pre-covid times, I used to go on vacation for a week, three or four times a year. Be sure that your water dishes/ pools are full and can't be knocked over. Leave dried food - it will be moldy and fuzzy when you get back, but that won't affect your crabs at all.
