HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I will be cleaning out my hermit crab tank soon. I currently have a food mite explosion I just brought in a rolly Polly to eat the hermit crab poop , the leftover food, and all the stuff it eats in the tank. Does anyone have any tips for my hermit crab tank to insure my hermit crab to live a long happy life? I don't know what happened to Kelpcake but all I know is I don't want it to happen to Bubbles. I will get a friend for Bubbles soon. so please give me some tips.

i would focus more on your tank and its conditions before getting another friend for your remaining crab
have you recently filled out one of the sheets from the emergency section? one of the best ways to go is to take advice from others as well as reading the care sheets!

Def get that thermometer/hygrometer asap before getting another crabby.

It is not your fault you helped me out and thanks to you and my other HCA friends she had happy last days. *sniff* I knew the risks of getting a pet hermie. She broke my heart She has a private beach now. With diamond shells. And an all you can eat smorgasbord Thank you for your help Crabby lover. Wish me luck with my other babies.
