Hello! I was just wondering, what are people's thoughts on introducing slime mold (physarum polycephalum) to my crabs tank eventually? I would think it would be like a clean up crew like isopods or springtails. It is not toxic if they eat it, I am pretty sure. I have just always found slime molds interesting and was wondering why not to put two cool creatures In the same tank?

P. polycephalum can grow up to a foot wide in diameter with enough nutrients (and a crabitat will have plenty). I don’t know how fast it grows but I imagine it will slowly take over

Yes, I forgot about the size lol. I think the biggest ever recorded was as long as a schoolbus. Thanks for your input!
