Nails..

Post by MacandHunter » Tue Aug 23, 2005 6:15 pm

Ok I just noticed in my Habba tree that there are two nails in it. I know that metal can not be in the Crabatat, but these are small, so I was wondering if they matterd. Do I have to take the tree out? I'd hate to they love to climb on it.

:)Thanks.

I myself have one of those log-things designed for geckos and snakes in the crabitat. I took a drill and made it into a choya-wood-type thing. They love to climb on it and I haven't experienced any problems with the several metal screws on it.

I know crabdad mentioned some screws/nails he uses. I would PM him and ask

 Hey, what if you used aquarium silicone on the areas where the metal is exposed! I think I might do that, just in case...
