Do micro ruggies have eyes like PPs?? I went to Petsmart today and saw a white crabby with a tint of peach and a little bit of coloring on the BP BUT the eyes were shaped like dots like PPs have, so I put him/her back and left the store. Anyways he is still a very cute little crabby but I am only looking for non PP hermit crabs since I have sooo mannnny PPs. Please help
THanks

PPs are unique in that even though they have round dotlike eyes, they have flat eyestalks that are beige in color. Indos look alot like PPs but there are some differences. They have dotlike eyes too, but their eyestalks are thin and not flat -- like drinking straws -- with a round eye on the end, and the stalks are also dark.
I don't want to get anymore PPs either because I'm afraid I might forget who's who too.

All ruggies have elongated eyes. They do not change with size.

Yes... I believe so ... I just adopted a very tiny pale peach PP. But only one way to know for sure... bring it home and wait for it to grow up.

PPs can be peach colored. id say that, based on your description of the eyes, that its a PP. the ruggie eyes are very noticably elongated. here is a pic of Pink Lady, a peach PP, you can see her round little eyes:
in contrast, here is Mayhem, a white micro ruggies with some green undertones. notice how the eyes are not round at all, but much more elongated:
