Climbing Wall question

the two new hermit crabs seem to be doing well.
however, i put the climbing wall from the small cage into this 10 gallon tank. it is metal and feels to "sharp" to me. They do use it.
Is it okay or should i replace it with something else? If so, what?

what is it made of? is it coconut hide? if so, it usually will feel pointy to us, but for them it has more places that they can hang on to. it should be fine!

The climbing wall that i put in there is, i think, aluminum. What should I replace it with?
when i was at the pet store i didnt see any climbing wall stuff unless i went to the lizard section.
any tips?

Glad to hear your crabs are doing OK
There are a few things you can use for a climby.
Netting, reptile hammocks, Cocofiber sheet (comes in a roll), branches, etc....have fun decorating your tat...that's half the enjoyment of having crabs!

Super economical climbing wall is plastic needlepoint canvas. It comes in different sizes and you can sew silk or plastic plants to it using fishing line so it looks more natural (I wish it came in green or brown instead of just white).

I don't think any type of metal is good for hermit-crabs.
