I thought I had a molter down but it came up last night. My question is, I don't have Eco earth in the tank yet and was waiting to add it. Can I unbury the hermits to mix the sand/Eco earth without stressing it out

Re: Need help on adding Eco earth
I would not. I would just add about one inch of loose sub on top once a day being very careful to not disturb/collapse the tunnel made by your crab until you reach the desired height. Good luck! ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

You can always let the crabs mix it in themselves or add it and once they all up, mix it if you want... Best to leave the buried crabs in peace until they come back up again. Just follow the advice that GotButterfies mentioned, and you should be good. Just make sure you don't pack it - the new substrate - down at all.
