So I have the digital hygrometer in my tank. I also have a UTH on the back of my tank above the substrate. I know I am supposed to place the hygrometer in the middle of the tank, but I do not have any place to put it due to the UTH on the back of the tank. I currently have it on side of the tank....is this ok or should I move it?

Hygrometer placement
Re: Hygrometer placement
The side of the tank is fine. The UTH covers most of the back of my 29g so the Acurite unit either sits on the substrate toward the front on the non-pool side or hangs mid-way down the side glass on the non-pool side.

Re: Hygrometer placement
I put my gauge 2 in one on a Popsicle stick with Velcro in the front middle 2 probes on each side and a digital on the middle of the tank between the 2 pools.
