Thought I would share this picture of Boromir (I think? Haha!) from the other night.

He looks like a crab angel or something watching over the tank! Image

Cool pic with the backlighting, and get a load of all those bristly hairs! Great name, too. :)

Once again, the gentle giant, the one and only Frodo has returned! I'm so happy! I gave him a bunch of worm castings to celebrate!

Haven't posted in forever! Things are going well. About to have to put my extra heaters on for the winter. Harder for me to keep heat up in such a tall tank. Kids are good. Usually have 6-10 up at once. It varies a lot and I can't really tell a lot apart because a bunch of my babies have had a big growth spurt.

Anyway, here's one of my Es. He's been up a couple weeks from a moly and has changed shells a bunch! All turbos!

Giner13, I got my big E guy from my niece. She brought him back from a trip in TN for me from a pet store. We live in KY and she knew I wanted E's (She's a crabber too and got her E's from there on her honeymoon, haha). My other little guys were a lucky find at a pet store super close to my sister's house that I found when I was visiting her. They had no idea they had more than one species and before I had only saw PP's there. I was so excited I thought I might faint! I bought all they had which was four. Image

It's so rare to see exotics in KY. At least from my experience. I am so jealous of people who live close to lots of pet stores!

Where are you in ky? I'm here in ky too but got all my hermits from vacations. I wish I could rescue some. I hate those vacation places.
