Hi, Osippi's Dad here...hope you don't mind, I tend to monitor the web chat...find your conversation interesting. I have taught mind/body and self-awareness courses online since about 1995 and have been submerged in academia until just lately.crabber wrote:Thanks.
And thanks for your compliment on my smarts. I'm not good at thinking abut myself that way because I have Attention Deficit Disorder, and have a negative association between myself and intelligence. I'm trying to reprogram it.![]()
I wouldn't worry about the intelligence thing you seem to have that going just fine...very cool stuff.

You are funny! I'd also like to add that I've found your comments on this subject very smart and well thought out also.
It's probably just because you have so much more to worry about and keep track of now.
Your classes sound fascinating!
Being ADD I find traditional education very difficult. I find I learn better outside of a classroom. I have always been a vivacious reader and I obsessively pour myself into a subject until my curiosity is exhausted. Then I promptly forget 90% of what I learned.
of course being ADD is part of what prompted interest in brain study, and how the brain works.

Aw, thank you. I can see why Osippi is so smart and well rounded with such involved parents.Hi, Osippi's Dad here...hope you don't mind, I tend to monitor the web chat...find your conversation interesting. Well my MS is in Education and from my view being an intelligent woman who loves to read has a whole lot to do with learning style, not so much ADD. You're a self-learner...very much like myself...and if I may say so more cognitive than many in academia I have dealt with. More power to you!crabber wrote:DustAndEchoes

The idea of genetic memory is fascinating...have you ever come across the near-death-experience in your studies?
