I have a crab who discovered was buried without his shell. I found him, and dug him up slightly, and he has a big molt sac. He last molted in Dec - Jan, with his shell, and everything was ok. I set some shells around him last night, and he reshelled, then deshelled again overnight.
I'm kinda short on time at the moment, so sorry for no help template. But the basics are: 73-78 F temperature, 75-80% humidity, substrate is roughly half sand, half JE. I've had him since christmas. He seems ok, a tiny bit lethargic, and he yelled at me when I found him.
Any more suggestions, or should I let him do his thing? I'm afraid to ISO him since the ISO doesn't have a heater. I may be able to rig up an in-tank ISO.

Hiya Ben ,
Ok,with your crabbies, would you know where his usual shell is?
I am thinking you should give it a good rinse out in salt water, and just check that there is nothing inside the shell that could be an irritant, then get your crabbie and gently dip his little belly in water and gently reshell him.
Then put him back in the tat(in a little dug out pit, don't bury him though)
,cover him with a cocohut, blocking off the little entrance with a large flat shell or similar, and just leaving him be.
Then get a half gallon soda bottle, cut in half, rinse out, dry, then place over the cocohut(using the upper half with lid removed),push the bottle down as far as it will go,that way it'll stop any other curious crabs.
With your temp and humidity,it would help if it was bumped up a bit,try to keep temp a bit more stable at 78f,and humidity bump up to 85% and try and keep as stable as you can.
Lastly, could you please fill out the help request template when you get a chance, just incase there's anything else that may be amiss?
