I have some sad news and a question.
Rose has died, which creates a large problem. Bon Jovi and Rose were very attached to eachother... and they were my only two straws. Now Rose has passed and Bon Jovi is by himself (species-wise) I have no other straws and he's lost Rose.
I really don't want him to get really down. So, I want to go to petco to get another straw. Every single time, without fail, there's a crab that's either injured or with lost limbs. I tend to have pretty good luck with them, so that's not a problem. But do ya'll think I could get a discount on one?

discounted crab
If there's one thing that I've learned from this is that it never hurts to speak up, it never hurts to ask and the outcome could benefit you and hermit crabs. If you decide on getting an injured crab, I would definitely ask for a discount. If the clerk hesitates, I would ask for a manager. If the manager tells you no, then the answer is really no. I think that you should get a discount or get a healthy crab, but I don't know what the store policies are on discounts.
