could this used for an ISO tank?

If it was a very small crab and for a short period of time it would work. Just make sure you cover the holes in the top for humidity. If you usually ISO molters than I might consider something larger since that can take longer. I have a kritter karrier I got from Wally-World That is only 5 or so inches high but a lot larger around.

Just, as squirmy-hermy pointed out, rmemeber to cover the top with a wet towel or something to keep humidty in. Also, they sell small UTHs for KKs, which you might want to invest in for winter, if it gets cold.
