heater and humidity gauge

hi i am new to this forum,i live in singapore which is in southeast asia so i live in the tropics. do you think i need a heater or humidity gauge, i can find wild cavipes in my area.

They are needed. I'm not sure about the heater, though. The humidity gauge is needed.

Wow! Wild Cavipes huh! You're lucky Lucas! You probably don't need the heater since you live in the tropics already. Not sure if you need the gauges. But I would wait for someone more experienced than me to chime in. Welcome to the HCA!

That's fun, I do think you need the gages, your temps are probably fine, just to monitor...sometimes inside temp/humd differ from outside....

actually, i keep 2 ruggies and i don't keep cavipes. i only find them in the mangroves in my country. i caught 3 cavipes once but i let them go. i have gotten a humidity gauge.

Aw, Ruggies are great! Gauges are a must, just to be 100% sure your habitat is the way you want it. I know you don't think humidity will be a problem, but what if it gets too high? (I have had this problem before.) You won't know whether you need a heater until you get a thermometer, so both gauges are important. Good luck with your little ones!
