pepper will be missed

my favorite love, pepper (the strawberry crab) surfaced after molting and had dark spots, a leg missing and exposed parts (like tiny hairline fractures with goo exposed) and didnt survive more than 3 days after his molt.

he was only under for about a week or two.

im heartbroken and would like some advice.

right now i have a purple pincher molting (paprika) who is doing good and has been under for over a month.

what went wrong with pepper?

why did he come up so early?

i loved him so much!!
