how do u grind up the egg shells? and when u grind them does it turn to a powder?

You can prepare it however you want...they'll find a way to eat it. Lately, I've been putting a whole shell in there and they chow down on that! It's very cool to watch.

Haha! Not necessarily. Mine are out and about at random times of the day, so sometimes I catch them eating.

oh okay but i never see mine come out during the day all they seem to do is sleep! is something wrong with them? but at night they do come out to eat and drink. :| ?????

A trick I do:

I mist, feed, give fresh water and clean the tank in the late evening. this usually gets everyone into a frisky mood and they come out earlier than if I feed them in the morning or afternoon.

For eggshell this morning, each tank got half of a baked eggshell (intact) filled with scrambled eggs and minced sweet peppers.
