Salt or Fresh pool?

Post by Guest » Mon Aug 04, 2008 6:43 pm

I bought a pool for my tank. Should it be salt water or fresh water? I have what I think is a PP.

u shoud have both

Only one pool will fit. I'm giving him both fresh and salt water. Which one should I fill the pool with?

You need two dishes: one containing fresh and one containing salt. If you are talking about building a nice pool (that is deeper), I would go with fresh because PPs seem to use that more.

If your tank is only big enough for one pool, then you need a bigger tank, but since you say your crab is a pp, then he definately needs fresh water. Also, it sounds like you only have one crab, they are social so you should think of getting him a buddy.

I'd say salt water, so if you found a strawberry Hermit Crab you'd be prepared!

I actually decided that I'm going to return the pool because it takes up half of my tank. I'll get deep dishes instead. I'm trying to decorate my tank and because I don't have a second floor, its hard with this thing in the way.
