My small/medium sized PP recently came back up from a molt, changed shells then dug back down for about a week. Now, Tom only surfaces once in awhile and seems very skittish. He then buries himself again for long periods of time. He used to climb all over the crabitat and relax in the open.
I'd say the conditions in my crabitat have actually improved from before he began his molt. (Humidity and Temp are constantly stable now.)
I did rinse him off after he first surfaced and I dont see the other hermies harass him either. Any ideas? Should I try to entice him with some peanut butter? Just concerned after this change in behavior.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Post-molt behavior change.
Maybe just spending some time recovering. One of mine (an Aussie) recently moulted and spent about 3 weeks just sleeping, on the surface but we put him in isolation. Now he is the most active crab in a tank of 11, I'm starting to wonder if he ever sleeps because he seems to play all day and all night! I think your little guy is use taking it easy and recovering, he'll perk up soon.

Re: Post-molt behavior change.
Mine often are more skittish after a molt. It's like they forgot what their life was like while they were underground and have to readjust.
